Cinema Tunisia Odyssée, 3000 years of history,

"There exists in the Mediterranean a country of beauty and light whose heavens echo with great names again and whose beaches carry tremendous traces of conquest.

In this country, the traveler can identify Libya of the Phoenicians, Africa of the Romans and Ifriquia of the Arabs.

As for me, your contemporary, I recognize Tunisia there, this country of mine, about which I am going to tell you the battles and legends, heroes, injuries and mysteries…
In this country, vestiges, traces come to us from ancestral ages and my story began a long time ago, really a long time ago, when the desert was a greenish valley.
Already the hands of the Tunisian sculpted stones and drew frescoes".

So begins this movie that tells the history of Tunisia, three times millenary, from the Foundation of Carthage, in 614 B.C up to now, moving through the Punic, Roman, Arabic, periods coming up finally to modern Tunisia. The geographic situation of Tunisia, its strategic site has always attracted conquerors. Several civilizations followed each other on its soil, letting evident traces in the architecture, the culinary art, music, clothes, traditions and customs. All the new technologies in sound, lighting are utilized to make you live the crucial events of this epic where history and legends intermingle to carry you in an exalting temporal journey.

Broadcasted in several languages (French, Arabic, English, Italian, German and Spanish). It is projected in a 345-seat-room.

In a projection room recreating an ancient ambience, let yourself be carried by the narration of the storyteller.
